Polysorbate 20

Polysorbate 20 is a non-ionic emulsifier that could be used in combination with a variety of other emulsifiers to cover a wide range of oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsion systems. It is an excellent solubilizer of essential oils and is also used as a wetting agent, viscosity modifier, stabilizer, and dispersing agent in cosmetic formulations.

Use: Can be added to formulas as is. Typical used at concentrations of 1-20% in cosmetic formulations.
